Planning a kitchen 3/3: The work
Last but not least: planning the work. This crucial step will help you avoid unpleasant surprises and bring your project to a successful conclusion.Don't worry about sounding professional. Be yourself. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but it's your story that will set you apart. If, when you reread your words, you don't hear your own voice in your head, it's a sign that you still have some work to do.
Step 4: The work
You're almost there! Now that the layout plan is complete and you've finalized your choices for appliances and finishing materials (flooring, backsplash, plumbing, etc.), it's time to plan the work.
-
Take the time to draw up a schedule, making sure to include all the tasks that need to be completed to create your space. Don't be afraid to make a very detailed list of tasks to eliminate the risk of forgetting anything. Every little detail counts!
-
Don't forget to take into account the availability of professionals (if needed) and the delivery times for your finishing materials and appliances. Make sure that each professional is scheduled at the right time in the process. You don't want to paint everything before the electrician comes and drills new holes!
