Alwyn Project

The many facets of a modular kitchen!

This major renovation project is the result of a close collaboration between a mother and her son. Together, they were able to combine their passions for beauty and well-designed spaces to create a fluid and soothing home. Multiple rooms have been reimagined in this Montreal's Hochelaga-Maisonneuve typical triplex. One of the duo's challenges was to find the ideal location for the kitchen. Open to the dining room, the latter offers a minimalist style that shines with luminosity.

The Coquo modules in natural oak and its deep midnight accessories bring a certain richness and warm intensity to the kitchen. This play of contrasts sets the tone for the rest of the apartment where several modules have been ingeniously integrated. The dining room includes an armoire with glass doors, a bookcase and a bench, providing storage for dishes and beautiful objects, a favorite place for plants and a sunny reading corner.

The space, which has been completely redesigned, reflects a mother's sensitivity for art works, handmade objects and the ingenuity and thoroughness of her entrepreneur son.
