How about organizing a DIY Christmas?
Between meal planning and gift buying, we may think that our schedule leaves little room for the creation of DIY decorations. However, you can easily give your home a festive look with finds from your garden or the market or even with everyday objects (for example, by making a wreath from an old metal hanger).
These home decor items are inspired by the slow movement, aiming to get back to the basics and share precious moments with those who are dear to us. In this slow-inspired decor, wooden branches, pine cones, conifers, fruits and vegetables come together to give a minimalist and welcoming atmosphere to your space. As a bonus, children will be happy to help you create these decorations!
Since we are driven by the philosophy of the coquo attitude and are particularly sensitive to everything handmade, we decided to create wreaths and bouquets from dried citrus (which we dehydrated in the oven), fir branches and grass. This experience was very fun and rewarding, and our new decorations look really beautiful in the coquo offices!
How will you bring more DIY to your celebrations this year?
The coquo team wishes you happy holidays!
