From colleagues to roommates
Cathy and Bianca, colleagues turned roommates, recently completed a remarkable renovation project. Starting out as colleagues at Cuisine Steam, both working as kitchen designers, they gradually developed a strong friendship. Eventually, their bond led them to become roommates, sharing not only professional insights but also personal experiences. With Cathy as a designer and handywoman, coupled with her father Tony's meticulous prowess as a contractor, the entire apartment underwent a breathtaking transformation. With unwavering support from family and friends, the space gradually started to take shape. The highlight? Undoubtedly, their cherished dream kitchen.
With walls torn down and the entire floor replaced, the kitchen became the focal point of the renovation. Gone were the outdated blue cabinets, replaced by warm and functional modular Coquo cabinets in natural oak, complemented by touches of white with the tiled backsplash and organic white quartz countertops. Attention to detail was evident in the curved hood fan, rounded wall & built-in metal shelves. These subtle yet impactful elements added character and a sense of flow to the space, enhancing both its visual appeal and functionality.Cathy and Bianca's collaborative efforts and passion has resulted in a kitchen that surpasses expectations and reflects their shared vision of a perfect home.
